Privacy:
We will never sell or give away any information collected as a result of your
visit to Discount Tools. We reserve the right to contact you regarding an order placed, and may
occasionally email you regarding updates to our website. If you do not wish to be contacted,
you may email us and we will remove you from our
mailing list.
Payment:
Discount Tools accepts payments by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Certified Checks, Money
Orders, and Personal Checks. Credit Card orders are shipped within 24 hours of credit card
verification, items paid by Certified Check/Money Order will be shipped within 24 hours of
receipt of payment, and items paid by Personal Check will be shipped after 10 days of receipt of
payment to allow time for your check to clear.
Shipping:
Orders received by 1pm M-F (Central Time Zone) will be shipped the same day. Orders received
after 1pm M-F will be shipped the next business day. (May not apply to special order and limited quantity items.)
Approximate shipping fees are automatically calculated by the shopping cart based on the
shipping method selected and zip code entered when placing your order. Actual shipping costs will apply.
You can compare the cost of shipping methods before submitting your order for verification.
Discount Tools ships items via USPS, UPS, FedEx or Freight. If items are to be shipped by
Freight, we will notify you of additional charges. Tracking/Delivery Confirmation is required
for all orders. Items shipped FedEx will be charged an additional $3.50 for deliveries to a residence.
Returns:
Please contact Discount Tools by email or by
phone at (785) 760-3359 to arrange a return. Customer must have prior authorization before
returning merchandise for refund. Acceptance of merchandise is final only after inspection.
Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped within 30 days of receipt. They must be
returned packaged as received in the original packing materials. Discount Tools is not
responsible for return transportation and insurance charges. A 10% restocking fee will be
charged on approved returns in unopened boxes, 25% for tools which have been opened but still in
original saleable factory carton with all packaging, etc. No credit will be issued for any used
tool. Upon receipt of return authorization, repack all returns in another shipping box for
labeling, etc. Any returned merchandise received that does not follow or otherwise does not
meet this policy, will be returned to the customer freight collect. Refunds will be issued
within 72 hours of our receipt and inspection of the merchandise. Discount Tools cannot accept
returns damaged after your receipt, unless the damage is due to a product defect. Certain items
will not be accepted for return by Discount Tools, and for those items we will instead refer you
to your nearest service center.
Defective Merchandise:
All products are 100% guaranteed against defects in materials and/or workmanship. If your merchandise
is defective upon receipt, please return to us for a full refund (less transportation and
insurance charges). Returns will be accepted in their original carton only and within the first
30 days of receipt. Refunds (less transportation and insurance) will be issued within 72 hours
after items have been received and inspected by Discount Tools.
Warranty:
No returns will be allowed for merchandise used or damaged by the customer. Contact your nearest
factory service center for factory warranties. Please contact us if you need help determining
your nearest factory service center or factory warranty. Do not return defective merchandise to
Discount Tools unless prior authorization has been given. All warranties are governed by factory
warranties.
Closeouts:
Closeouts are great buys and prices are reduced, but all closeout tools are absolutely
nonreturnable and no credits will be given on closeouts.
Reconditioned Items:
Reconditioned tools carry a one year factory warranty. Prices are marked down on reconditioned
tools, which are sold as is and are nonreturnable.
Special Orders:
We can special order any item from the manufacturers in our catalog. Special ordered items can take 2-3 weeks to get in, and cannot be returned. Free quotes are available.
